What is the Small Caps Generator?

The Cursed Text Generator maps standard lowercase Latin letters into a pseudo-alphabet of small capital characters (e.g., ʜᴇʟʟᴏ). This format is popular for YouTube titles, social media bios, and profile names because of its clean, structured look.

Unicode Small Caps Omissions: Unicode does not define standard small caps glyphs for every letter in the Latin block. Specifically, letters like Q and W are omitted. To resolve this, our generator uses visual fallbacks: q maps to ǫ (phonetic letter small capital Q) and w maps to (small capital W from phonetic extensions). This maintains visual consistency across the entire alphabet.

Use small caps formatting to highlight headings or profile names, but avoid using them for long body text to preserve readability. Read more about character maps in What Is Unicode or check the Unicode vs ASCII comparison.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do small caps fonts copy and paste anywhere?

Yes. Because they use standard Unicode characters, they copy and paste cleanly onto platforms like Instagram, Discord, and Steam.

Are small caps accessible for screen readers?

Like other Unicode font mappings, screen readers may read them as individual phonetic symbols. Use them for short words rather than full paragraphs.

Are all English letters supported in small caps?

Most letters are supported, but a few letters (such as 'f' or 'q') have visual approximations because they lack native code points in standard Unicode blocks.

How does it handle capital letters in the input?

Standard uppercase letters are kept as normal capital letters, while lowercase letters are converted into small caps, maintaining sentence layout.

Does this tool support non-English letters with accents?

No. Unicode does not contain small-cap equivalents for accented characters (like 'é' or 'ü'). Accented letters will remain in their standard forms, which may look visually inconsistent.
